On entering the show, the skipper immediately stumbled across some fine looking tenders, of a make unknown to him. These stylish craft are Sur Marine, an Italian manufacturer, well known and respected in the Mediterranean. Inspecting the Sur Marine 330, revealed a well-made boat.
So, why the Sur Marine 330? Well, apart from its good looks, the boat is the right weight and offers a configuration that should suit. Just about anyone can be taught to drive it and the speed is sufficient without being daft! However, the determining factor was the way in which Craig of MCC Marine handled our enquiry from start to finish. He was interested enough to spend the time with us, find out about our needs and be patient. There is a confidence and care that suggests any issues that arise in the future will be taken seriously and dealt with. So, thank you Craig, we look forward to collecting the 330 in March.

Sur Marine ST260
We are delighted with our new SUR 260. We have now returned to Woolverstone and found the tender to be practical, nippy [we have had her on the plane 😊] and just perfect for the Trader 42’s extended bathing platform.

Sur Marine ST90
When we went to the London boat show looking for a tender, we visited the MCC marine stand just for a chat with Craig and had a look at their tenders. We were impressed with the quality of the tenders, and also the layout. The 290 classic providing space for 4 and 2 dogs and also, with one or 2 on board, performance. My phone recorded 38 knots with one on board. The boat handling is also very good. When i let my brother take it out for a spin yesterday (and he hasn't driven a boat for a few years), he took it for a quick spin to rhe Needles and back - a 10 mile round trip.
I therefore highly recommend MCC marine

SUR Marine ST370 Prestige
We bought an SUR 370 Prestige from SUR Marine at the Southampton Boat Show, because the build quality stood out from all the other competitors, combined with Craig’s professionalism.
We use the boat in the Salcombe estuary, where it is absolutely perfect: large enough and seaworthy to motor up to Kingsbridge, but light enough to manage landing off the beaches.
The boat is ideally suited to the Yamaha 25 outboard which is very powerful, starts first time every time and is very frugal on fuel.
We have no hesitation in recommending this boat and outboard package.

SUR Marine Easy 270
We wanted a small rib to fit on the bathing platform of our Princess V39 motor yacht. Having reviewed the market carefully we chose the Sur Marine 270. This is a great little rib with fibre glass hull rather than the much more common aluminium. The boat just oozes quality with the hypalon fabric. It’s also very well thought out with clear attention to detail, such as how the oars stow and the design of the clip in rowlocks. We were particularly impressed with the built in planning tabs that form part of the hull helping the boat to plane early and making it perform like a bigger rib. We installed a Yamaha 9.9hp outboard which is the max rating for this boat. We are delighted with the performance. The boat jumps onto the plane eagerly with one person and even with two adults is still no slouch. We found that with one adult it rose to plane at 7 knots, reaching a maximum speed of just over 20 knots. Very nippy for such a small rib. It rides smoothly and is very dry, whether on the plane or not. It’s very sure footed and turns easily without upsetting it’s balance. Even in heavy chop it still flies along with two adults, giving a smooth and dry ride. The Sur Marine 270 has exceeded our expectations and we are delighted with our new purchase. I should also add that the service provided by Craig at MCC Marine was excellent. From helping us choose the rib through to arranging new chocks to be cut and delivering the rib to our boat. A comprehensive and professional service.

SUR Marine ST330
We bought a SUR 280 Classic rib from Craig at MCC Marine.
What a great little rib, comforable, roomy enough space for two people and are 2 Dlamatians!!
The rib is stable even at 26knots its top speed, superb handling. The quality of the SUR ribs is excellent especially the side steps and bow steps, a great additin and a great service from Craig as always. Many thanks Craig.
